Points for Audi R8 LMS at Silverstone
FIA GT3: At the season opener of the FIA GT3 European Championship at Silverstone (Great Britain) Team Sainteloc-Phoenix Racing clinched championship points twice. The team’s Belgian driver pairing Stéphane Lemeret and Greg Franchi finished both the first and second race in eighth place. The German Michael Ammermüller and his Brazilian partner Paolo Bonifacio from Team Rosberg finished Saturday’s race in the points as well by taking tenth place. With a tenth-place finish on Sunday, the Black Falcon duo Johannes Stuck and Sean Paul Breslin took home one championship point.
Top-five placing for Phoenix Racing
GT Open:The German Audi customer team Phoenix Racing with drivers Marcel Tiemann and Jim Matthews took fifth place in the GTS class in Sunday’s race in the International GT Open at the Nürburgring. At the home round of the team based in the Eifel region the German-American pairing saw the checkered flag in sixth place on Saturday.
