Truly a performance tire for all seasons, General Tire's Exclaim UHP is designed to fit a wide range of performance sports cars, coupes and sedans. This tire delivers excellent grip, handling, traction, cornering and braking in wet and dry conditions.
Category: Ultra-high performance
Available Sizes: 15” – 24” in aspect ratios ranging from 25 to 55.
Features & Benefits:
· Optimized Double V-shaped, Lateral Wave tread design delivers impressive control in wet driving conditions.
· Aggressive, directional tread pattern works to effectively evacuate water from between the tire’s contact patch and the road surface.
· High-void tread ratio allows Exclaim UHP to effectively maneuver through wet road conditions.
The void areas of the tread effectively disperse water for greater contact with the road by eliminating water build-up at the front of the tire – in order to improve wet grip and actively reduce the possibility of hydroplaning. That means braking force is distributed evenly to the tire’s contact patch – even in challenging driving conditions.
The Exclaim UHP also uses General Tire's 2nd generation, ultra-high performance silica tread compound molded into an aggressive directional tread design that features wide shoulder blocks on top of an optimized contour -- to combine responsive handling with exceptional wet and dry traction. In addition, Exclaim UHP’s solid overlapping center tread structure allows for steering precision, cornering stability and responsive performance – for unmatched driving excitement.
