Second to last stop of the club sport series will take place at the finals of the ADAC Masters Weekend.
The MINI Challenge is now going onto the finishing straight: Ten championship rounds have been completed in the remaining five races, the decision is in the title fight. The final sprint begins this coming weekend (30 September - 02 October) at the Hockenheimring, where two championship rounds are part of the ADAC Masters Weekend on the program.
With the best title chance travels Hendrik Vieth (Empty, Gigamot) to Baden traditional course. The champion of last year is currently in the standings with 249 points. Noteworthy: His six wins this season Vieth could always drive out in a twin, he won twice in the season opener at the Hockenheimring (DTM), twice in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben (WTCC) and twice at Nürburgring (Oldtimer Grand Prix).
To stop the winning streak of Hendrik Vieth is the stated goal of the pursuer. The 21-year-old Nico Bastian (Hemsbach, Gigamot / Sport1) occupies the second place with 225 points in the drivers' standings and is thus a serious opponent in the battle for the title. Similarly, the current third placed Lestrup Fredrik (Stockholm / S, Caisley International) with 206 meters still realistic chance for overall victory, as in the MINI Challenge will be awarded per win 30 points.
For the rest of the 20-strong starting field heralds the Hockenheim ring to the hot phase of the season. The spectators can look forward to dedicated fighting position, because this applies to all teams and riders to secure the best possible position for the final at the Salzburg Ring.
